Keep the device you have

Stronge doesn’t need a new account with your device’s brand. If its app writes workouts to Apple Health (or Health Connect on Android), Stronge reads them. That covers Garmin, Apple Watch, Coros, Polar, Suunto and Oura, and Strava as a source.

Each device has its own connect guide in the app, with a troubleshooter for the usual reason workouts don’t show: that app isn’t writing to Health yet.

What it reads

  • Workouts. Type, duration, distance, climb, an effort ratio.
  • Not routes. Location is not in the read set. Stronge sees a run, not where you ran it.
  • Not your heart-rate trace. Only a dimensionless effort ratio syncs. The trace stays on your phone.

Missed one? A run or ride your device didn’t catch can be typed in by hand and counts the same. Two sources for one run are counted once.

Draft: to be confirmed before publishing.

Stronge is not medical advice and doesn’t replace your physio. Articles describe what the app does and the evidence it draws on, not outcomes for you.
